This book made me feel a lot of things, so much that I lost count of my reactions , especially the angst and feels. The plot twists had my jaw dropping to the floor and so immerse into how and why or what the hell?!

The perspectives; Harper, Will, and Ardyn were really fun to read. One of those felt like playing detective on them, plucking out what this person is about and what's their backstory. I will say there were some dramatic scenes where it could be fixed. Harper, the main character, is truly an angel, someone who you'd want as a best friend, a confidant who you can trust your life and secrets with. I loved her so much I was truly hoping she'd get her happy ending in this story.

The side characters were my favorites as well besides the main ones. They're witty and badass to have around; I can't wait/hope they will get their story as well. The mystery behind one is killing me to know their life and story before this came about.

I'd say this holds a bit of suspense if you squint very hard. The emotional and angst parts had me crying and choking up. The push and pull, the love triangle, growing up and trying to figure out what's happening between the main characters, and lastly but not least one main perspective felt raw and his journey to serving his way to life had me hit in the chest with feels and pain.

This debut book truly holds a lot of potential, maybe a few hiccups to fix but nonetheless I truly enjoyed this. There were even tropes I don't usually read as often but this book changed my mind; I want to read more like this. I highly recommend this. You won't be able to put it down and want to read to the very end.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to read this as an arc reader, like I've said before I can't wait to read more of your future work!!
