Owl Babies absolutely has to be AppleBlossom's current favorite book. We actually got our hands on it a while ago and have loved it since day one and some how I skipped over giving it a review, but I really shouldn't have because it is a great story. Right now at two and a half years old she is mimicking the story and will “read it” herself. Bill is her favorite, and she is always telling me, “It's okay, Mama will come back.” Our children are so precious and learning everyday and having another book to provide reassurance that [b:No Matter What 727327 No Matter What Debi Gliori http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1177704674s/727327.jpg 1703788], it will be okay and you'll never [b:Guess How Much I Love You 301736 Guess How Much I Love You Sam McBratney http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320457007s/301736.jpg 45331] and [b:Bunny My Honey 109567 Bunny My Honey Anita Jeram http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1171607988s/109567.jpg 105589], I love you. These are necessary. It is a wonderful message that needs to be told. Then to add on to this great story, with neat illustrations an animated storybook DVD. Sometimes mama wants a break from telling the story, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be told... Yesterday, AppleBlossom watched it 12 times in succession and wanted to go again! We are definitely a book first family, and TV later if at all, but this is a DVD I definitely do not mind popping in. Thanks to Candlewick Press for providing a copy for review.Posted: http://creativemadnessmama.com/blog/2012/02/07/owl-babies/Online Storytime: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA62532D078063C8A
