This is definitely one of the most emotionally complex stories I have ever read, definitely my favourite book from Novoneel Chakraborty. I love how well the characters are built, especially Vanav, the depth of his pain was fascinating to read about.

So many plot twists, it kept me at the edge of my seat. It also did a great job of keeping me emotionally invested.

This author is probably the only Indian author I've read who goes to this level of dark.

I would've given this a 5 stars if not for a few loose ends that I'm bothered by. A few contradictions, a few questions, a few things that don't make sense but overall it's a fantastic story.

My favourite part of the author's writing is probably the feminist commentary throughout. Definitely not in-your-face, but it's there. The writing was also very witty, I was highlighting quite a lot.

I'll definitely be reading every book the author publishes.
