Sandy

A beautiful romantic tale of a young Scotsman who is determined to make good in London. He longs to be an author, but practicality makes him an entrepreneur as well, and he embarks on a special-delivery service to support himself as he established his reputation as an author. His love is V.V., the up-and-coming actress, and his goal in life is to win her.

The side characters are strong and well-drawn, and each of them round out the story in a delightful way. The pace is not fast, but the story is endearing.
