Reading a non-fiction book was a nice change, but this was a pretty serious read. Most of the book showed the depressing and scary reality of how fragile our environment and life on our planet are. Not that there might be danger in our future, but whether it is humanity, our planet or our universe, something is going to try to kill all of us, eventually. The end of the book was the uplifting part about how there is a lot we can do in the near and more distant future to save ourselves. Right now it seems more unlikely than ever that we will, but with Annalee, I remain optimistic for our future.
