Aw, I love Skunk and Badger, and this book was everything I hoped it would be.
It sounded so promising. Badger does Important Rock Work, and Skunk comes to live with Badger. “Not everyone wants a skunk,” Skunk had sadly shared with Badger, and Badger soon sees why. Skunk is a slob when it comes to cleanup, and it's hard for him to let Badger have the quiet he needs to solve his rocks. But Skunk is also oddly endearing. It's difficult for Badger to make the decision to write to his aunt and have Skunk vacate his aunt's brownstone that they are sharing.
I live with a person who does Important Rock Work so I made an instant connection to this story. I will go further to say that I have some strong connections to Skunk; we'll just leave it at that.
So much fun! I can't wait for book two.
