Stony the Road

4/5 - This was a very good book as it answered a lot of my questions as to “How did we get here as a race?”. It all makes sense to me now. I did not like the exclusion of the black woman during Reconstruction, Redemption and Jim Crow in this book. They were not brought up until later during the Harlem Renaissance. I would like to think we contributed a lot during that time period as well, so it felt like a dismissal.
