Sweet & Bitter Magic

I was excited to read this as its a standalone fantasy and how rare are they?!

Overall I enjoyed it but do feel like it could have been expanded into a duology to flesh it out more, as it lacked some depth and world building.

I liked the characters and the descriptions of the magic, but really wanted more from the world to be more immersed in it.
