The beginner's Bible

I just love those books an they are still some of our favorites –> I wish there were more! Then a few weeks ago, I discovered [b:The Beginner's Bible Book of Prayers 11346108 The Beginner's Bible Book of Prayers Kelly Pulley http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327939584s/11346108.jpg 16275384]. This little book is very attractive with a padded board book cover and firm pages. It is a perfect size for any young child to hold. Each page pair has a typical Kelly Pulley illustration with a Bible Story title and verse underneath. Then on the opposite page is a plaque-like design of a solid color with a word of character and then a prayer prime for memorization. IF you already love and appreciate The Beginner's Bible then I'm certain you'll enjoy this book. This one thing I have noticed is that it is not ideal for bedtime/low light reading with the prayer written on a solid color. But other than that, the value is plain and often already my daughter requests we look at it again and again. On a positive note of those colored pages, it has become a secondary useful tool as on each page she tells me what the color is. grin Yay! for educational toddler value.
