This book deals with the very serious topic of rape-culture. It encompasses all perspectives of every character very thoughtfully and realistically. Whittall uses the complexity of the topic to shape a perfect depiction of how rape-culture is perceived in society today.

This is my first novel by Whittall but not the first novel I have read about rape-culture and i'm thoroughly impressed by the character development and the overall depiction of a topic that not many seem to get right.
