The Centaur Wars

The Centaur Wars

I read a lot of fantasy lately and I am always surprised at how imaginative and creative these authors can be. The Centaur Wars is no different.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect going into this one, because I went in 100% blind. I saw Centaur, fantasy and loved this cover so I went for it. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and I really enjoyed this one.

This is really good writing with equally good characters. I love the dynamic between Bernard and Dee. The mystery surrounding both of their families kept me on my toes throughout and each snippet of revelation had me hooked for more.

I love mythology so the fact that this has Centaurs was the main reason I wanted to read this. I absolutely love Cef and his part in this story. I also love how his herd plays into the mystery surrounding the forest they inhabit. Seriously made for a great addition to an already fun story.

This is the first book in the Beast Maker's series and I am happy to see the next book will come out in August. Looks like mermaids are going to come into the continuation, based off the cover, and I can't wait.

This is one I definitely recommend for mythology and fantasy fans. I sincerely appreciate the publisher and Book Sirens for providing me with a review copy. All opinions expressed herein are mine and mine alone.
