The Devil's Submission

First off let me say that I was not expecting a BDSM theme here. I maybe should start reading the descriptions of books a little more clearly when they are sent my way.

This is a second chance romance, which generally I like. If you notice in the description, Grayson likes pain with his pleasure, well I guess maybe I was expecting some spanking. Not restraints, a club dedicated to bsdm, and all the bells and whistles that go with it. It wasn't bad, but, it just is not something I enjoy. I can get into some spankings, or some light bondage tones, like in the moment I'll tie you up with something I found lying around, but the scene where Eliza walks in on Grayson being an “alpha” is a little disturbing. Mostly because he is not enjoying it at all, so its just disturbing. Why put yourself through something that you are not enjoying? Hence, why I dnf'd this book at 50%.

If you do enjoy the bdsm scene, and like regency era romances, then give it a try! This is a short book, and I did like that it was the woman that was the stronger sexual personality, while Grayson was the one who wanted direction in the bedroom.
