3,5 stars filled with confusion because everything was going so well with this story until the author decided to cram all their remaining plotlines on way too few pages

- Revna is the epitome of what I want from a strong female lead that is a badass fighter and trained assassin
- Lys has a danger boner and probably takes the failed assassination as foreplay
- calling her “my viper” as endearment? yes please
- every scene where she interacts with her bonded dragon arkyn is so cute, he's like a big scaly dog
