Fascinating historical novel set in Mexico in the 19th Century. The audio version is narrated by the author, and he does an excellent job. The story itself is riveting, even though for much of the book one isn't sure where it's going, although in retrospect there are sufficient signs pointing that way. I didn't really want it to end. Great characters.
