This book was amazing, and very insightful into the true meaning of what it means to be a follower of Christ saved by Him alone. Dr. Keller does a great job breaking down and explaining the background, main points, and central message behind Jesus' parable of the prodigal son. We are all either, prodigal sons who treat God's Grace cheaply and aren't convicted by Christ's sacrifice to change our ways and do good deeds of love just as Christ did on the cross, seeking to go our own way and fulfill our own desires; or elder brothers who are arrogant and think that because we stick to the moral code of the Bible and we serve God, we deserve grace and are owed, trying to be our own savior and earn God's love given to us through Jesus instead of just accepting it and celebrating the growth of God's kingdom. This is a book every follower of Christ should read.
