The Rise of Rome: The Making of the World's Greatest Empire

This was a really great read by Everitt! I learned a lot of things I didn't know about the founding and development of the Roman Empire from a small city to a vast empire. I also got some good refreshers and new on-site into some things I already knew about the city of Rome There were some parts that were less interesting in this book, and he goes to different points in history and talks about some of the same things in different chapters with different perspectives and insights. Overall, a great read!
