I feel as though I was giddily exploding my brain for the too-few days it took for me to devour this book. All the pop philosophy, psychology, mythology, social and gender theory, and cultural critique one could manage to cram into 300+ pages of fairy tales and sex and politics, and boy is it fun! Sexy and sexual and vulgar without any of the trappings of eroticism or romance or what's considered “sexy” by today's boring, prepackaged standards; droll and witty and brilliantly funny, in an eclectic, esoteric, post-modern mash. Delicious. I can't wait to pick this up again and get lost in A Hu-Li's enlightenment round after round.
