Colton is Vada's brother's best friend - and her one time secret. After spending a night together while grieving the loss of her sister in law and friend, they agree to keep their night a secret.

But just because you can keep a secret, doesn't mean the feelings go away. Colton promises Vada that when he's done school he will give her the time she deserves...but life happens and sometimes we don't keep our promises.

Colton is full of secrets. With his family he has to be. When he finds out an even larger secret, it threatens to ruin his relationship with Vada.

I loved Colton and Vada. I think they had a bit of growing and healing to do, but they're good for each other. Vada frustrated me a few times, but with her past I can understand her reluctance to trust Colton.

I loved the side characters, and I can't wait to read about Cassidy's story next!
