The Storm Crow

What a total surprise this was! I've had it on my shelves for a while and never picked it up, then just decided to read it totally at random and loved it!

It's just the perfect blend of everything good in fantasy - magic, political intrigue, waring kingdoms, a little bit of romance and angst, interesting world and especially in this one with the unique crows and what they do.

It was exactly what I needed at the time and I'm going straight into book 2.
