The Sun Is a Compass

This was an excellent read. I love books about people challenging themselves in the wild and this one offered insight not only into what its like to travel from Washington state to the Arctic with no motor but because the author is a Biologist she offered a lot of interesting information on birds and other wildlife as well as how they and their environment are being impacted by climate change. I loved seeing these remote parts of the world I most likely will never see.
