This maybe not the best book in the entire series, at least it lived up to my expectations and the quality of the story is greatly improving after every sequel, thus my rating is improving as well. This book is very addictive and it always leaves me at the edge of my seat after every chapter.
This is the first book where we get to know more of Thalia's character, after being resurrected in the previous book which is The Sea of Monsters. Percy and his gang, including Thalia, started off well during the first few chapters but as usual things quickly started to fall which led them in another trap. Thalia and Percy were the ones to save the world, and Annabeth. AND AGAIN AS USUAL, they must do it in a very limited amount of time because of another possible dooms day and the winter solstice.
With Riordan's terrific humor and innovation on Greek mythology, this book kept me attached to the story just like The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters. Before reading this book, I suggest you to read the first two books because it can get very confusing sometimes and it lacks character and plot introductions. Some questions were answered just like how Thalia and Percy would get along. The Titan's Curse also gave me possible hints on what the next two books will be about (there are 5 books in the series). For sure, you would get excited to read the remaining books because it will surely introduce new quests/adventures until it leads us to the finale.
In general, Rick Riordan never failed me again with such a great middle book. It maintained its right pace and intensity throughout the story. The characters are lively as always, often giving you a great laugh and a roller coaster ride of emotions. I suggest everyone to read this and the entire series if you're in for an awesome adventure!
So far this has been my favorite installment. I think what made it so great for me is that these kids are finally growing up and dealing with real emotions and decisions.

I tend to get weary of books with sequels unlike most people who get more and more attached to the characters; I seem, instead, to get tired of the predictability of the characters. This book I'm rating a nine again, however, despite the speed with which I whipped through it and despite the tiresomeness I felt at times while reading the characters' conversations. A nine nonetheless for all true fans.
As always, I had a great time reading yet another entry in this lovely exciting series for children.
I loved the familial relationships in this one and where the story went.
I am so excited about book 4!
First of the series that I didn't remember much from when I read as a kid going into it, and it was really amazing memories of reading it coming back to me. This is the best of the series yet.
The third installment introduces a higher level of conflict among the characters and brings in some exciting new secondary characters. The world of Percy Jackson continues to deliver.
Age range: 10+
Younger readers may find it a little scary.
Another great instalment of the PJO series, perfect for a quick and easy read!
I'm still surprised by how solid these are. I had honestly made the hipster-asshole assumption that since these were so popular they wouldn't be any good. UGHHH RENATA DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE.
The audiobooks are great because they're so fast-paced. Once in awhile the discs are too scratched and I miss a chapter-ish but I'm pretty sure I still followed the whole story. I really liked Artemis & the Hunters. It was totally time for some more (cultish) girl power up in there.
livro impecável. Batalhas incríveis e MUITO emocionante. A morte que acontece me fez chorwr pela primeira vez lendo uma obra escrita. Obra-prima.
The series is aging. Percy is now in 8th grade. Annabeth is trying to live with her Dad and Stepmom again. Tyson has found a home and Grover has found two new children of the Gods that need to make their way to Camp Half-Blood. Percy is still the main and center character, but he is not in charge of the quest, in fact he is chosen to join the quest at all.
The prophesy about the curse says someone will die (and someone does). Luke (the ongoing half-blood bad guy) is back again with new Titan Gods that want to overthrow Olympus.
But when Annabeth goes missing, Percy realizes he cannot sit this quest out and sneaks along, more to save Annabeth than to fulfill the quest.
I really am very impressed with the progression the series. It is just not a routine every book is the same, like I felt that the Lemony Snicket series ended up being. This is a natural, but varied series and it is building quite well. Now on to book 4.
I just finished the third book in the Percy Jackson series. This is one of the series I am reading along with a podcast. The third book seems to be where this series takes a turn to the slightly more serious. Percy again must travel across the country to help a friend (does this kid ever stay in one place??), and needs to contend with trying to understand more mysterious prophecies.
This book (and the series, so far) are fun and easy to read, and I'd definitely recommend it to any middle-grade readers near you (especially boys, especially neurodivergent boys). Also probably more fun for anyone with a working understanding of Greek mythology. I'm still waiting for it to really grab me, though. E tells me the 4th and 5th books are the best, so I'm excited to get started on the next one!
💬: “And the next thing I knew, one of them grabbed Thalia and me, the other grabbed Zoë and Grover, and we flew straight up, over the dam and the river, the skeleton warriors shrinking to tiny specks below us and the sound of gunfire echoing off the sides of the mountains."

Percy Jackson - The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan is the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians middle grade series. In this book, Anabeth goes missing at the beginning with a mission that had just gone wrong. Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, and Grover are tasked with helping two new half-bloods back to Camp Half-Blood. Will Percy and the gang be able to save Annabeth?
The Titan's Curse has a lot of action and adventure, this series is really a joy to read. This book was really entertaining, I'm really starting to love the growing cast of characters. There are honestly so many new characters in this book and reading about them and seeing their personalities and reactions to certain things is really exciting. There was a nice cliff hanger at the end of this, it makes me want to read the rest of the series immediately.
Overall, this book was exciting and entertaining just like the previous books in the series. I'm giving this 5 stars out of 5

I listened to this audiobook for free on [Libbyapp.com]
Greek mythology has long been a favorite subject of mine so I'm loving this series and it's quickly becoming an all-time favorite.
I adore the characters and the portrayal of the gods. The writing is good and the flow is perfect for me. This was another quick, action-packed story and I flew through it. I laughed a lot with this one (the humor is on point for me), and that's always a huge plus in my book. There is no plugging away through this series .. there is only OK bring on the next one and let's have some fun!
