Anthony Ryan you beauty! What a nice way to round off 100 books in this year. A really long book but well worth the journey. Ryan learns from his previous books and this iteration is more compact and more compelling. The POV's are dramatically different and he nails the characterization of each extremely well. But its the stories of the small parts in the book that stand out for you eg Slave Thirty four. There battle scenes to are much stronger than the first installment and in all a very fulfilling read. Highly recommended!
