I'm struggling a little with this review because I liked the story but there are aspects I felt didn't work as well as I'd hoped. If you go into this book suspending your disbelief then I think you'll do fine, and just to clarify, that isn't about the relationship but the circumstance. I just found it so hard to believe Cait was a virgin, especially with some of the bedroom antics, from her and the guys. I liked this story, it was sexy for sure, lots of sex in various combinations MM/ MMF/ MF/ MFM which I actually liked and it gave a greater feel for these characters and how they felt for each other. Cait, Matt and Tris' relationship was actually quite beautiful, I just felt that for three people that claimed to love one another from early on, they really tried their best to hurt them. Thankfully, they eventually came to their senses and the book does have a HEA. The characters were pretty likable. I liked that the book dealt with the prejudices of the people around them and the thoughts of the characters as well. I always love the love is love message.
Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were fantastic. I loved their performances, they never fail to entertain, it's not just a read of the book but a full production. They fully capture your attention and engross you in the story, and this book was no different. The changes in tone and inflections for each character was brilliant. It was easy to listen to and follow. If you think reading the sexy times was hot, wait until you hear them. Narrator crushes for sure.
