I liked what was there well enough, but with 9 minutes left in the audiobook I'm thinking “There is NO WAY he wraps this up in 9 minutes, this is going to be Part One of Two. It sucks that I'm going to have to wait for the next one.!”

Then, over the course of 8 minutes they find the find the home world of the alien civilization they're looking for, the alien colony is saved, they go back home, and every one of the consequences is wrapped up in a way that makes it seem like the series is over...

It has real “Poochie died on the way back to his home planet” vibes, like halfway through this book he got bored with the whole idea of this universe and just... decided to stop...
