I can say that I am now familiar with Nora Roberts' writings. I'm ready. Murderers, psychos, witches... you name it, I'm game for it. This is Nora Roberts we're talking about. But midway through Vision in White, I got distracted.
Wait, wait. This is Nora Roberts', right? Right?
Where's the mystery?
Where's the psychotic murderer?
Where's the family drama?
Where's the maddeningly mystical witch?
None of the above. Vision in White is simply a romance novel. Don't expect too much of it. The main characters, Mac and Carter, are downright simple, the kind you will encounter in various romance novels. But that doesn't stop me from adoring the both of them. Sure, they have issues. Well, Mac has issues, to be precise. But nothing big. Nothing too complicated.
I'd say, this one is a simple read. Too simple for Roberts, perhaps?
