Waiting for Sunrise

2012 • 390 pages

This Fine Life was my introduction and a great read for me with Eva Marie Everson's writing. This book however was just read in the wrong week for me. (Right now I'm a little stressed about my daughter's surgery and needed something more uplifting where this was a little down - because it was a little too real on psychology issues...) Another time I think I might have enjoyed it more. Eva Marie Everson's writing is vivid and translates easily to my imagination as I can imagine it taking place right before my eyes. I repeat what I said before that I could see her books going on to such as Hallmark movies or the like.

The ultimate message in the book is worthwhile and now I do want to go back for Chasing Sunsets. Oh, and on a personal note for me... while it seems everyone I come across loves the sunset, it is the sunrise that makes me ooh and ahh and stare in silent contemplation...
