Warlord's Enigma

3 stars for the story itself but 1 whole star for the audio which really made it for meThis is a little bit of fun to while away an hour or two. The story is pretty much straight up yaoi which, to me at least, means some mindless fun. Here we have a pair of beautiful blonde twins, one heir to his kingdom and the other ... not. But which is the true heir? The question is left up to Kinthor, the warlord who has recently conquered their planet, and his trusted advisor Rodin. As fate would have it the twins are a match for each of these two Aliens or is it the other way around? It doesn't matter. A fun and sexy romp is had by all.As for the the audio that is where the true entertainment comes. Janus & Haine, the twins, are voiced like the brattiest twinks you've ever wanted to slap and then kiss silly. Kinthor is like some Vulcan and the true genius is Rodin. If you've watched Family Guy as much as I have you can't help but hear Roger in one of his many characters. I cracked up laughing. I loved it! Even the minor characters like Arda, Kinthor's sister, were done perfectly.So if you need a break from angst or high emotions this is the book. Enjoy.
