A Memoir in Love Poems, Letters, Recipes, and Remembrances

Interesting memoir, and I enjoyed the format shifts and the combination of prose, poetry, and recipes. Despite that, I think that Alexander fails to actually interrogate some aspects of his life that he is putting on full display, and some of the poetry is weakened by an honesty that is tempered with a defensive edge to it. Some strange choices in the stories and framings told here, and not ones that I vibed with.
