Well, this book started out very promising, with saving kitties and puppies. That went downhill so quickly.

Not only was I having a hard time connecting to the writing, but the main character, Sam, he was like a giant 12 year old. He was constantly downing himself, apologizing to Ivy, and he seemed to almost not understand what was going on around him half the time. Ivy was strange too, she also downed herself a lot, which I didn't like. She had one moment where she was funny, they were talking about Sam's time in jail, and she cracked a joke. That was the highlight of the entire book, well the part that I read, I admit I gave up at 70% because, wait for it.... They did the bump and grind without a condom!!! I love when they do that! Not. They have known each other for what, 2 weeks? 3 weeks? That is not long enough for that kind of trust, especially when if you really need to dip your stick, you can run up to and convenience store or gas station and buy a pack of condoms.
