This is another DNF for me. I just can't get with KAs portrayal of women. The hero's first attempt to express he wanted her back while blaming himself and her at the same time ended it for me. His approach to her did not match his inner dialogue! So disappointing!
The book was really good and I liked the interaction of the team but some parts were too dense. It's like she spent too much time trying to describe Rose and Kane as a family.
Sin Undone was soooo good. I love how Con helped her transform and accept that she had a new family to embrace. I just hate that it was the end.
While I really like the concept of the Elemental Assassin books and love how Gin has grown since book one, I'm having a very difficult time with the constant repetition that goes on throughout the books. How many times do we need to be reminded of Gin's powers or that she is dating Owen, or that Jo-Jo is a hairdresser that has air elemental powers and is a healer. It is driving me crazy. I understand that some degree of mentions should be done of previous information (when it's pertinent to the direction of the storyline) but come on by book 3 we shouldn't still need to be reminded of the basics in the story. Geez!!!!
