Woah that was great! Interesting twists, liked the lead character. Going to lib to find all the books from this author.
I was hoping a book that delved into Win's story would be interesting, but this book left me feeling like he's more interesting as Myron Bolitar's good friend who helps when it's needed
I liked the previous book better, but this was fairly interesting, especially all the prep work and multiple layers of double crossing
I understand why it's on the best seller's list and people are going crazy for it. It's something we all think about from time to time: what if? Really got me thinking about changing some of my own regrets.
Blends themes from two of my favorite Dean Koontz novels: Watchers and The Silent Corner. Loved it!
Enjoyed it. Liked the lead protagonist and ready to read the next in the series right away
Not the usual Nora Roberts “beach read” I was expecting, but instead a very compelling suspense novel
Overall it was a good story, but it was hard to follow along with the timeline moving forward and back while also jumping constantly between various characters' points of view.
I'd like it to be a bit more about Bree and Matt, but there's a whole series for that to be explored
Just meh. Not the usual fast-paced interesting Jack Reacher. Bizarre melding of ransomware with Luddite Jack Reacher. Felt like they were trying too hard to make Reacher feel “relevant” in our highly technical 21st century, but he was doing just fine as-is.
Such a great book, I had to force myself to read it slowly so I wouldn't gobble it up in one sitting. I love love love Sara and Will together. Once I got used to the jumping around in time, I enjoyed having access to both Jeffrey and Will at the same time. This is one of the few books I've read where I didn't see the ending coming from a mile away. Well done Karin!
I read this in one sitting — I was so riveted I could not put it down! One of the more unique psychological thrillers. This is the first book I've ever read by the author; I'll be reading more for sure
Interesting story with such an unusual premise. Fell in love with great characters right away.
Though the story premise is a common one, this had enough compelling differences that really kept me engrossed.
Rounded up from 3.5. Every time I thought I knew where it was going, there was a twist. The end was kind of meh though. Still worth reading
I didn't realize quite was I was getting myself into when I picked this book — I was focused only on the author name at the time and didn't even read the book description. It made me cry and smile and I felt emotionally wrung out when it was over. Loved the Sliding Doors theme.
Nice twists and turns, but the end felt sudden and didn't resolve everything that I assumed it would. However, that leaves an opportunity for a follow up book
