Great epic fantasy story, can't wait for another one in series. Great characters as well.
Half way through the book and I could predict the ending. Four stars from me because of that
Disturbing, really terrifying scenes.
Good story but wierd concept.
I don't know if I will continue with series
I'm glad that we got another point-of-view and that it's novella rather then being part of Starsight
Beginning was OK, middle part was kinda streched like a filler, ending was satisfying.
Mbots character development is amazing!
Loved the premise of the story, but that's it. Ending was very weak.
All in all, it's OK, younger me would've liked it more.
The audiobook format is really good, and writting style worked for me.
Story was so so for me, I think because I didn't relate much.
I would like to try some other books by Sally.
2.5⭐️
I heard a lot about this book, mostly good things and that's why I waitied for few months to be available at the library.
First half of book was good, it felt like showing off with greek language and knowlegde in that area in general but I didn't mind. I liked characters and the mystery vail around them, especially Julian.
I can see why they wanted to kill Bunny and it made sense, because he kinda blackmailed them.
Second half was so hard to get through, could have been less pages. Romantic relationship between tweens was gross, I didn't see why was it necessary and didn't bring any value to plot.
Henry offing himself ... I dont get it, and the end was like ...
Julian disappearing when he figured about his students actions was not realistic at all, he didn't go to police or even confront them, he run away for reasons unknown to us. Book gave me a feeling he was going to be a influence and huge factor for their “What should we do now?” moment but no.
Richard is the only character I liked all along, and understood him in a way.
First half 5⭐️ and second half barely 2⭐️
The only thing that kinda didn't work out for me is the paranormal part, I didn't expect that in this book.
But I liked it, took me by surprise
After reading first and second book, I was disappointed that the third one is yet to be translated to my language. I was skeptical of reading english version, but I decided to try it as an audiobook. Narration was beautiful and mesmerizing, I was completely emreged in the story.
I couldn't have predicted any decision characters made nor did I see it coming. Loved it!
Now that I've finished the series, I can't tell am I experiencing book hangover or existencial crysis
