See allNo Nonsense Review:
- I really liked it.
- If you like the first one then you'll most likely read through all of them with no problem.
- I have never pre-ordered a book before, but I rushed to pre-order the 4th book (since been delayed for good reasons).
- I found the story to be unique.
- The magic system was a little unclear to me, but... that really doesn't bother me.
- The main female character does not speak and it's written extremely well; I didn't even notice the ‘difference' in the dialogue between characters.
- The main male character is good, and I enjoyed the way he respects and treats the MFC.
No Nonsense Review:
- I really liked it.
- I liked the sequel and 2 novellas, too.
- The story is unique-ish for a tournament / game theme and it's paced well.
- The main female character is interesting, adaptive, and doesn't make me want to rip my hair out.
- The main male character is OK.
- Not a ton of spice, but what's there is written very well.
No Nonsense Review:
- I have no idea why I read this.
- Anyone who suggests that you read this book doesn't like you very much or respect your time.
- The book begins with a potentially intriguing stalker situation and ends with a MMC conjured from the daydreams of extremist right wing weirdos.
No Nonsense Review:
- I really liked it.
- I read this after the 2 main books, but you can also read it between them. Both ways are fine.
- You could read this as a stand alone, too.
- The main female character is quite developed for a novella, and I really liked her.
- To me, the main male character is more likeable than the one in the main story, The Serpent & the Wings of Night.
- Also similar to the main books, the spice is minimal but very well written.
No Nonsense Review:
- I liked this.
- I bought this book blind on a whim.
- It was a quick read, but it felt as if it was the correct length.
- The story has women go through hell, commit crimes, survive, and try to make the world better.
