Wow. what a roller coaster of a book! So sad in so many ways, but a great eye opener. Great reminder also of how much we should be grateful if we have people around us who love and support us just for who we are and not what they benefit from the connection.I wasn't a huge Britney fan cause I didn't grow up in that Era but I respected her artistry so this was devastating to read; just having to absorb what she went through was a bit emotional for me ..It is good book though
Lol this made me feel all sorts of emotions but for the most part...i wanted to shit myself cuz girl WHAT????
Their love dynamic is just so complicated and it is so scary that one can be living in their own head so much like this(so much so that they're literally detached from the outside world)—-and the husband
I love the protagonist. Her story is somewhat true to life.I have struggled with grief myself after losing my dad so I can understand how hard it can be to move on from that...
I love the writing style
It's so persuasive...keeps getting better and that was my fav part about this book
I really liked Nate and Anna's relationship.I loved how they complimented each other in so many ways..Absolutely loathed Aaron though-Felt like he took advantage of what was happening back at his house to just be a terrible human being.Looking forward to Henry's story (loved that guy)
I love me a well articulated DUAL POV book. This had me laughing through and through.Liam and Anne are pretty adorable characters and the writer did a good job bringing them to life;from page one until the very end their connection and chemistry is palpable and vibrant....I would love to read more from this writer wink wink
I love love love this book
I love that it was true to life and the writer's writing style kept me interested in the book throughout..Safe to say I will be checking out Jane Igharo's other books. This was phenomenal
I sorta kinda liked this one but I also felt like the writer didn't explore other characters to their fullest potential hence the 3stars
I don't know what I just read but this was terrible
Gave two stars for the effort on the authors part
I picked up this book with a lot of expectations most of which aren't great...But Jada proved me wrong;she not only took responsibility of her fair share/ or the part she played that brought about some of the misfortunes that had befallen her and those around her..She addressed these issues with so much care and compassion for everyone involved.I love the fact that she stuck to the concept of the book——“it was her story to tell and she didn't complicate it by trying to decipher other people's feelings or involvement in some situations that scarred her for example that entanglement issue. While she chose to be vulnerable..I love that she respected all those involved and left other parts of the story as it was not her responsibility to share those even though she was actively involved in some of these events “
I love this book.
The cover of the book..♥️Omg! It's so pretty (played a big role in why I picked it up).The storyline as well got me hooked & ...
I hoped I would love the content of the ish just as much as I was mesmerized by the cover BUT that wasn't the case at all **SOB SOB!
.It was really hard for me to follow the conversations plus the decisions made by some of the characters in general made me cringe. This clearly wasn't my cup of tea, unfortunately.
I liked the book because mainly cause of the author's writing style.Pretty sure if anyone wrote it any other way It would probably make me cringe. The story is an emotional one and it kinda resonated with me in some parts. It's a good read overall.
