Cute quick read a good PB&J ☺️. Definitely enjoyed the characters and light hearted vibes.
10/10
Series needs more Hype there is not enough Hype for this book Period.
Scarlett easily takes the cake for best FMC ever and top 3 series I've read this year. I don't know where to go from here, I am ruined and I'm happy about it. Looking forward to reading this series again.
The ending perfectly wraps up each character like a Christmas special exactly as it should.
LOVED can't wait to read it again. Definitely on my list of books & series I wish I could read again for the first time.
There is so much to love about this book! The only reason it's 4 an not 5 stars is the romance elements felt forced to me like could be placement but the relationships didn't hit as hard as something was missing in the development of the characters relationships. Plot A plus plus
Highly Romantic and Magical. The plot was light to the point I would find myself tuning out and not needing to go back because I didn't miss anything.
I'm not sure if this book is not for me or if it was just overall bad. There was barely a plot line and the characters had almost no development. This is dark spice not romance. There should probably be more trigger warnings as well.... Will not be continuing the series.
Officially a Raven Kennedy girlie and happy to be here!! This series lives in my head rent free...and this is easily the best book in the series thus far
Worth every bit of hype and then some! You will never see the ending coming and it sent me running for the second book, a must read.
This book in one word: FUN. Usually puzzle mystery books are not my favorite but this book had me hooked within the first few chapters. This would make the perfect book for a book club with so many layers and unanswered questions to unpack throughout the entire book!
Just when I thought I figured it out I turned the page. As with the first book in this series I had fun.
3.5⭐️
This is a very leave your morals at the door kind of book. I found there to be some interesting themes that didn't have enough depth or presence to give it 4 stars. Light on the plot heavy on the spice (after 200 pages).
I loved every minute of this book. Will definitely be added to my reread pile of books.
better?
This story got better as it went on but in the end it really feels like the plot is not moving forward and the characters are not evolving in any way. The cameos are fun though.
I couldn't put this down. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars for me is that the academy portion of the story was supposed to make her better and challenge her but it seemed her only real challenge was how to blend in with the males. I wish we had gotten more of her growth here as a warrior rather than a re-affirmation of her existing skills which almost made it feel like more of a spy mission rather than a training one which I understood it was supposed to be. I'm surprised nothing more pivotal occurred during these chapters.

The idea was fun. However the characters lack depth and connection. There is no basis as so why the supporting characters should have such strong loyalty to this stranger/main character except that they just do. The writing isn't the best but it's really the lack of character development and foundation for the attachments that really make this story fall flat.
This was a fun quick read something I would pick up for road trip but it didn't have me sitting on the edge of my seat like I was hoping.
Pass. There are much better hockey romances. Skip an read something else this was painful.
