Very good development and push towards the end. Though it came too quick, I think I understand why. Great job.

Unfortunately, book 1 was good, but book 2 and 3 dealt much more with suffering and accidental accomplishments than I was hoping for in an epic fantasy novel. There's only so much I can take, way too much investment for this to finish so suddenly like it did. Good change, but too much investment for the small benefit gained.

I am liking this book so far. The series is great. There is just enough good stuff happening for the main character that it doesn't get depressing.

Another fantastic book by Scott Lynch. This book was a little different from the first, in that it ended differently than what I was hoping for. That doesn't make it any worse, just different. Great read, and it definitely has me hooked to read book 3. I HAVE to know what happens after the end of book 2.
