I enjoyed this little fairy tale adventure novel.
It's Young Adult but still a great read.
Cute little book of happiness.
I don't recommend getting the Kindle version because it doesn't work on the PaperWhite or Oasis. You'll need an iPad or laptop for reading because it shows 2 pages side by side.
A young man journeys to find knowledge and the meaning of life. A philosophical gem.
3.5 / 5
A martial arts murder mystery.
I have his “Sword of Sorrow, Blade of Joy” in my TBR
I waited a whole year for this book and it was worth the wait. You know Reece gets out of trouble but it's the how that makes it interesting. This book pulls some current world events into the mix and some Cold War events. IMHO, this is one of the best in the series.
I really enjoyed this book and I wasn't disappointed with his ending. I think it is a must read for King fans.
You get a peek into the lives of Emma and Dexter every July 15th for 20 years. 3.5 rounded up to 4
A good read
Good start to a martial arts fantasy. 3.5 / 5.0
Interesting cast of characters.
Not your typical chosen one story.
Latest Blake Crouch “Upgrade”. 4 / 5
Thriller about gene editing taking place in the near future. If you like “Dark Matter” and “Recursion”, you'll like this book even though it's not as good. His vision of the future is believable.
I received an ARC of Jack Carr's “In The Blood”. James Reece is on a mission to find out who is behind the downing of an airplane containing 120+ passengers along with a Mossad operative connected to him when he was in Iraq.
5 / 5 stars. Reece's thrilling story continues around the world with gritty and intense action. A must read for those who loved The Terminal List series.
A wonderful but haunting memoir of an undocumented family living in New York City during the early 1990's through the eyes of a seven year old girl.
5 / 5 stars.
4.5 / 5
An intense thriller. Ken Follet is a master at making you feel for his characters. This book was hard to put down and felt like something ripped out of the news that can happen now or in the near future.
If you're a fan of his, you won't be disappointed.
“Billy Summers” is a hired killer looking to get out of that line of work after one last hit. Will he retire as planned or will things go awry?
Stephen King writes crime fiction comfortably but with some dark themes.
I liked it and rate it 4 / 5.
4.5/5.0
Stephen King's stories about kids are great. There's one scene which was disturbing, weird, and unnecessary.
