Character led novel of professional hitman who only killed really bad guys . Was on his last job before retirement. While holed up waiting to make the hit (and after when he was on the lam) he decided to write his bio. Bio included traumatic event in childhood, being a soldier in Afghanistan and road to hitman. Hit went as planned but what happened next didn't. Totally riveting and entertaining story including saving a woman who was gang and raped became a willing co-conspirator in the events following the hit.
