See allI love books that make you miss the principal character once the book is done, as was the case with this book. This doesn't happen often to me, so this one (and the previous one) caught me by surprise.
Nathan is on a rollercoaster not of his own making, so he has to play by other people's rules, so I hope what we've seen in this book leads to him making choices for himself and take charge.
Can't wait for the third book!
Too little story spun out over too many pages. Just minor parts of the story ignited the ‘other world-ness'-magic that made His Dark Materials trilogy so intriguing to me.
