This felt like reading a film manuscript poorly transformed into a book.
The ideas behind the main plot, where we come from and where we are going, are really clever. However, they are squeezed into the regular Robert Langdon scheme and would have benefitted greatly from Dan Brown writing a different kind of Robert Langdon story this time.
Very mixed feelings about this book. At times I felt like I was reading a teenage love novel, which left me feeling uncomfortable and bored. Then suddenly the the book turns hard core adult fantasy and is 5-star enjoyable. However, the love story parts of the book leaves me feeling this could have been quite a lot better.
Still debating myself whether to give book two a go or not.
Honestly a book that should be on top of the list for anyone involved in business. Filled with good thoughts and sensible advices for running businesses that put people first.
I guess asking me to review this is similar to asking a Christian to review the bible, or a teenager to review the latest song from Justin Bieber. I am as biased here as I can be, so you should not listen to me. Read the book yourself!
