Delightful! Laugh out loud funny! I appreciated the developing and evolving friendship between Skunk and Badger!
Horowitz kept me guessing till the very end of the book! Looking forward to the next in the series.
Lyrical and lovely. MacLachlan knows children, dogs, and relationships. Her storytelling reminds us that our humanity is enriched when we listen to and love each other.
I recall it being extremely bleak, and one of the first dystopian novels I ever read - along with 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451. I prefered the other 3 novels over Level 7.

I agree with the brief description on the back of the book:
“Tender, Terrifying and Triumphant”
If you savored Savvy and the other books in the series, you will be delighted by Harkey's Sneak Thief!
Sonia Sotomayor shares the power of words and of books in shaping her life. Often I found myself exclaiming in agreement, “Yes, that is how I feel/felt!” Some examples for me include:
“Reading was like lighting candles, each book a flame that lit up the world around me.”
“I didn't know how to read yet, but written words, I discovered, were electrical currents that jolted feelings to life.”
“Books were my loyal friends. They made it so I never felt lonely.”
“The library was my harbor, and books were little boats that helped me escape sadness at home.”
I laughed out loud again and again at the antics of Lola and Charlie. Lauren Child “gets” kids, parents, and canines!
Stephen and Corky, Corky and Stephen - their partnership gave Stephen the courage to live more fully, take risks, and view life with laughter and at times as a Buddhist. I highly recommend this delightful and honest memoir!

Poetic and personal!
Elio's story reminds us that to love and to be loved is a transcendent part of life.
Actor Armie Hammer, who plays Oliver in the movie, does a magnificent job reading as Elio in the audiobook version!
