See allnot a good book, most of my enjoyment out of this, came out of me making fun of it. Dont recommend, and im not willing to talk more abt it, its not deserving of the attention
great characters, narrative, twists. I really have little criticism for this book, Other than the characters come off as preachy and it might be obnoxious for some. I really like it that way though.
Edit(2024 reread) I think it overextends itself in some parts in the middle too, when it tries to not repeat itself. But my general feelings towards the book stay mostly the same.
great book overall, really interesting concept and that totally transforms this book into a page turner. Really thrilling experience, runs out of steam a little bit out at the end since it feels like the writer got himself into a writing block corner. But it ended beautifully anyways.
Mistborn feels like a mixture of multiple things, modern shonen manga/anime, action fantasy shows like avatar the last airbender and modern fantasy stories.
A mixture that feels genius in multiple ways, it is thrilling, exiting, heartwarming and really enjoyable all across the board. My only criticism is that it feels kinda slow for a few chapters in the beggining, but once things pick up, the pacing becomes wonderful.
I really recommend this book.
Bruh, what is even this book.
It starts out in the middle of events, then you kinda understand slowly the state of affairs since the first book, then it kinda slumps with around 150 pages of tediousness, after that it picks thing up like “yeah enough messing arround its time we actually start telling the story lol” and then it goes insane and it ends.
An enjoyable but inconsistent experience i would describe it, really liked the characters and i felt the action was better described this way arround.
Anyways, i liked it but it slumps halfway through. First book still feels like a better experience overall
