While the book is actually well written, with good imagery, I felt nothing for the characters. Enoch needed more than chiseled cheekbones to be appealing.

There was absolutely no build up to their attraction. Enoch just sort of says what he's going to do to her body the first instant they meet. He comes across as an incel.

However, what initially drew me to this story was the premise. The world is a zombie infested nightmare and three survivors are trapped together. Unfortunately the story barely touches on that. The zombies could have been anything: A mudslide, a blizzard. If you're going to select an unrealistic premise, no matter what you write, erotica or not, commit to it. We're writers, we can write anything! Indulge!

For example, Isadora is married to Jacob but their best friend Samuel is also living with them because zombies. Sometimes the horde moves on and the survivors can do things like collect river water and firewood. Maybe Sam went out to hunt or something and almost gets bit, there's a scare, and it helps Issy and Sam realize how much they want each other and should take advantage of the time they have together and that sparks all the wild threesome sex.
