This is an exceptional book and deserves all the praise that is has received although I do feel that some parts felt slightly too stretched from possible reality.
I loved this book - I wasn't sure what to expect when I started it but it quickly surprised me and became a story about empowerment, integrity, over coming hurdles and finding out who you are even when it feels like the worlds against you. I loved the romance aspect as it didn't take over the rest of the messages in the book.
The writing style was easy and faultless and completely transported me to the authors world.
Highly recommend!

If you love country music stars, cowboys and opposites attract then this is a must read.

Winston and Percy were incredible main characters and their story was written beautifully- I felt like I was living and breathing it with them.
The mental health representation was handled incredibly well and a lot of the time the story was raw and painful.

I really enjoyed this - the book was exactly what it said it was - a great instalove story between Harley a 40 year old grumpy mechanic and Ken a 20 year old coming to terms with his sexuality and bound by his family's ideals.
I loved the way Harley protected Ken and softened for him - his guidance and understanding was heartwarming.
Ken was like an excitable puppy but he knew that he wanted Harley and nothing was going to get in his way.

I really enjoyed this book although I did find the first 200 pages quite slow going. Really enjoyed the second half of the book and will definitely be picking up the authors next book ‘the muse'.
