When she finally reveals the killer the only thing I could think was “You're friggin kidding me! That's Great!” lol which are things that rarely happen to me
I had started this years ago and I kept meaning to finish it but just never got around to it. Well I have finally picked it back up and finished it and all I can say is it's beautiful.
I really enjoyed this book and it made me appreciate that even though my family is highly dis-funtional I know they'd take care of me.
It was a good read but I really need an epilogue! lol What happens from there I mean the boy just met her soon to be husband, and someone please tell me Liz gets what she deserves!!! Plus, how did the movie turn out everyone on the set says it will be a hit but I assume they always say that don't they?
I think about half way through I started whimpering, by the end I was in all out tears. I have no idea how I finished it, but it was an amazing book!
It would have had a higher rating but this book had a TMI factor for one old people sex... is not sexy... and for two lactating women.. again tmi
This was my first Vook. Actually I had never even heard of one before this, I am just a big fan of Jude Deveraux. At first it was confusing, but once I caught on I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a cute story and I am glad I read it.
I think I would have enjoyed it more if some of the dialogue and the main character weren't as childish.
I love the way this series goes through the years with the family, not just a few months have passed. I thought ti was an amazing suprise to revisit the O'Hurlys in this book and thoroughly enjoyed it :D
I don't write many reviews but this one was too great to pass up on.
I loved this book. It was fun to read I had no idea what Catherine Coulter would pull out of her imagination next.
(Spoiler!) You've got your quaint little town with mass murders, an incestuous father that turns out not to be her father, a man who turns out to be alive but not dead and to top it off a gay husband! (Spoiler!)
Oh yeah it screams bad soap opera but don't take it too seriously and it's tons of fun. I laughed a dozen times over and leaned back to share some of the more tantalizing parts with my husband all he did was shake his head as I giggled away. I just hope her next book is as much fun. :D
So it took a while for me to actually get into this book but it turned out to be pretty good. I am glad I stuck to it and didn't just give up like I usually do lol.
Spoiler Sorta
I hate the ending oh it makes me want to cry for a couple of hours but I am a big girl and I have gotten through it twice now lol
I started this book a couple of years ago and for some reason I just could not get into it. But I stuck it out finally and finished it and it turned out to be a lot better than I had first thought.
This was the first Jude Deveraux book I read. It was what made me fall in love with her novels, and even the romance genre.
Omg I don't think I have laughed so hard during a fight scene in my entire life. I have been knitting since I was 13 and my mother and I have had discussions about stabbing people with knitting needles but using a ball of yarn as a ball gag is a whole new level. :))
It would be a good series but the fact he raped her and then she still makes excuses for him is irritating at best
