The beginning of the story started strong and kept me intrigued but it lost steam towards the middle. The supernatural element wasn't really necessary. It actually made the ending seem a touch hokey.
There was nothing thrilling about this book. The entire time I was thinking in no way would anyone behave this way and not been seen as crazy and every other character supporting the craziness as if it were normal.
I loved Gideon! I was looking forward to this, however, this was a disappointing follow-up.
I had no issues with it being in second person but the story itself was confusing and it just fell flat for me.
