Reads like a murder mystery inside a travel guide (in a good way that i feel worked for it). I found it fun and refreshing to have so many Michgander vibes tucked in. Definitely left me hanging at the end and clamoring to read the next book. The twist surprised me enough to stay interesting and I was genuinely upset by it (again in a good way).
Three stars because I did like the twists/ending as plot points. Would've been lower rating otherwise because the execution was lacking and the main character was insufferable at times.
Very good YA mystery! I loved the riddles. It kept me guessing the whole way through!
I don't usually immediately review books. I usually let them sit in my brain for a couple days. I broke that rule with this one. I LOVED this book. I don't really gravitate towards romance novels, I'm more of a dark and twisty reader, but this one was so good. The character were so relatable for me and the story was so beautifully woven together.
My first Emily Henry novel. As someone who is not typically a romance reader, I really enjoyed this one. Even though I didn't relate to these characters at all, I loved them and was rooting for them throughout the story.
