This on was close to the standard set by dan brown in his very first book ‘the davinci code'..not somebody to miss out on a langdon adventure this one was a far better ride than his second one ‘angels and demons' in which we saw our favourite professor turned into a crossbreed between indiana jones and jason bourne...what worked magic for dan brown was his extra ordinary talent on plotting tales in such a way that it could make even a veteran historian enter a state of confusion and to recheck whatever he studied again to reassure himself that the so called facts mentioned in the story are just a part of a cleverly plotted story-line.I hope he keeps up the standard with his upcoming works too...
One of the best books that I have read..it the story of the cat and mouse chase between an assassin and a cop and at times the hunter and prey roles twist around.
Absolutely loved this book! I read this a looong time ago and i still recall the pov of the djinn and how funny it was something i missed in the following books.
A novel that gets you hooked from the first few chapters..each chapter is an unravel and that makes one to sit and read it till the end.
A story that portrays to you about family bonds, value and honor..well the story is all about that..family
surprising end....hmmm....got all my guesses wrong....hope rick keeps up his good works
totally unlike dan brown's othe books...still don't understand why drag dante and ancient history into a medical thriller like this one....
things are calm at the end, unlike the previous book....cant wait for the next in the series
Quiet different from the usual style adopted by Dan brown. Here we are presented with a story that has nothing to do any ancient documents, puzzles or doomsday prophecys that we are quiet familiar with in his novel..which also means one thing ..the main character is not our usual well known quick witted professor Langdon.
