terrible terrible terrible. was good for the first 30% and then just smut every other page. ick.
super quick read; very predictable. ending had a slight twist that wants me to read book 2.
listened on audible; i think it would've been a hire review if i would've read it myself and not listened to the narrators.
this book got wicked weird during the last 100 pages and i don't know if it was good or bad
first it took FOREVER to get the plot moving. was a lot of set up.
then the ENDING
THE ENDING
i knew cardan (LOL NOT AUTOCORRECT SWITCHING IT TO CARDAMOM.) had something up his sleeve but EXILE?! after MARRYING JUDE?! i'm so sad.
listened on audible
my late teens self wouldve loved this. but it's so cringe now lmao
i don't even know what the plot was, seemed like things were being just tossed into the story. and all the main characters had to do what communicate and 99% of the problems would've been solved.
was a little overhyped for me. it's worth the read for the greek mythology; but that ending. oof. i was more sad by briseis' unnecessary death than patroclus and achilles'
