Good story overall but I felt Emily's chapter were better paced than Dani's. Dani was more difficult to follow and felt more like filler up until the end.
Can honestly say I haven't read a novel in some years and decided it was time to get back to it and this is my attempt at keeping myself accountable.
I found the style was an easy read and it was a nice tale. I did suspend my disbelief here and there but nothing that truly broke the immersion!
Good read on her life. It reads in short chapters which made it an easy read as an audiobook in the car during work commute.
Was a nice read where everyone gets what they deserve. Appreciated that I wasn't attached to anyone, but I didn't really have to be.
Interesting tale. Definitely some dated verbiage used to describe the characters, but in the end, this was an entertaining read. I do look forward to The Exchange.
Took me a while to pick up and come back to this one. An excellent telling of a terrible time. Absolutely despicable to know the details of what happened. This was all before my time, but to know that times haven't changed much is sad.
